Sugar Nellie - Maggie

Been playing with my Sugar Nellies again - this time it's Maggie. I just love these stamps! I think this is quite a fun card and the colours are quite bright. The jewels in the middle of the flowers are swarovski crystals for a bit of extra bling! (they work out about the same price as the other crafty jewels that you can get but they really do add extra sparkle! they are glued on with a teeny spot of glossy accents - impossible to see when it dries).

Another obsession - ribbon!

I've always know that I had an obsession (healthy, of course!!) with paper... but now I'm going to have to admit to another! And the really scary thing is that I had no idea it was there.. yes, I admit I have shopped for different types of ribbon in the past, and that I did have quite a lot. But it's not until I treated myself to one of these ribbon storage bags that I truly realised the extent of my new problem!! Oh well.. I can live with it I suppose!!
This storage bag is fantastic! I didn't count the ribbon as I put it in but there is still loads of room! And now I can see what I have! (and I can tell what I need!!)

Yippee!

Totally not craft related! The postman has just been and brought me a large white envelope! I could tell what it was before opening it.. the exam results from the exam I sat back on the 7th February. I deliberated about opening it!! But I'm glad I did - I passed! Now I'm a qualified project manager. Thank goodness I don't have to re-sit! I'd like to say a big thank you to all my blog friends who sent me wishes of good luck at the exam time!
What a good day today is!

Thrilled! Featured on Queen Kat's Bloggers Club!

This has totally made my day! I'm really delighted to be the featured blog on Queen Kat's Bloggers Club today!

Makes me want to craft all day!

Sugar Nellie - Simon and Lola

This is such a lovely stamp to work with! The image is so easy to colour. The paper is Fancy Pants (I think - I cut the strip off ages ago and this was just a scrap). The flowers are Prima hydrangeas. I've used what I think are like the zoomz you get in the UK for the centres (they were part of my candy that came from Manna! - thanks Manna!). They look like little droplets of water (I've got to get some more of these!).

Mini memories book - luggage tags

I've had this little project to do for ages and now I finally got round to it. The little book is made up of luggage tags in envelopes for the pages. I've altered each of the pages. This is the first time I've worked with Adirondack Acrylic Paint and I could easily get hooked! I could also get hooked on buttons! I need to get more!! I thought I would use the book to squirrel away secrets and thoughts that would be nice for my daughter to read one day. I think I could get hooked on altering things!
