Some pics of the garden

It was a quite a nice day today so a BBQ was a must! Took these pics of the garden as the colours were lovely!

Ears are ringing!

Had the best time ever last night! Seeing Nickelback at the Glasgow SECC -the Dark Horse Tour. Totally awesome!! The music and effects were terrific and Chad's rapport with the crowd (which looked like a packed house!) was great! They were supported by Black Stone Cherry - totally brilliant - worth paying for on their own! They teamed up for a cover of Highway To Hell - just about raised the roof!! The encore started with a cover of Kings of Leon. Just an absolutely fantastic night!

candy!

Hi! Just to let you know that Michelle over at the fabulous Card Grotto has a fantastic blog candy on offer! So a huge "Happy Birthday" to Michelle when it comes! Check it out!

Floating Softly

Something a wee bit different for me - I've had this stamp for ages - it's called Floating Softly by Frances Mahon for Stamps Happen Inc. The papers are DCWV Once Upon a time. The flowers are Prima and the crystals are Swarovski (Purple Velvet). No idea what greeting to put on the card as I have no idea what occasion it would be for!

mummy to be!

Another different one for me - well, at least it's not a birthday card!

Distressed Mummy!

Thought this would be good as a get well card - in the right circumstances obviously, and only if the person had a good sense of humour!!
The stamp is from Art Gone Wild - Johnny. Papers are Co'redinations Whitewash and Dreamstreet Nostalgic. I used a Heidi Swapp Edge Distresser, an Xcut Distressing Tool and a very sharp felting needle. The bandages are sizzlits.

competition!!

This is what happens when you give stamped images to a four year old. I asked her to make them nice and bright! I think I have a card maker in the making! Her colouring is neater than mine!

chocolate and pink!

papers are SEI Jolie Chocolat. Coloured with Marvys, as usual!

More Baby Boy!

The Next Level - Candy and Challenges!

Maggie May

Papers are from My Minds Eye - Maggie May. I just love these colours! I've not used this Magnolia stamp for ages. She's coloured with Marvys and a watercolour brush.
I'm starting to think all my cards look the same. Do I need some new inspiration?

Retro Rose Vellum

This is the vellum from the new Retro Rose collection by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.

Another guy card..

Inspired by Basic Grey Marrakech papers. Coloured with Promarkers. Made this one after "tidying" my craft space. Well, when I say tidy I mean I can now actually see the desk!

Love Birds

Lovebirds from DigiStamp Boutique. Check out their site - Absolutely fab! Colours inspired by Basic Grey Lime Rickey. Coloured using a mix of "on the run" and promarkers.
